Precautions for customizing taps

-At the beginning, the head cone should be perpendicular to the surface of the hole. Place your right hand in the middle of the tap wrench and press down. Use your left hand to rotate the tap clockwise (pay attention to force balance) into the hole for 1 to 2 turns. Check whether the head cone is perpendicular to the surface of the hole. If it is not perpendicular, adjust it.

-2. Add lubricating oil to reduce machining resistance and make the machined thread surface smoother and more aesthetically pleasing.

-3. During normal tapping, hold the tap wrench with both hands and turn it clockwise by 3/4 turn and then reverse it by 1/4 turn to facilitate wire breakage and reduce machining resistance.

-4. After completing the head cone attack, use a two cone tapping tool.

-5. After tapping is completed, check with standard bolts.
